I finally polished off another partial kit tonight. Just like 6 cards to get rid of it (lots of little scrappies and no bigger sheets of paper so I couldn't do a layout)... felt good. I can finally say I only have 200 kits (as long as i don't count the OD's separate... LOL. If I did, that'd be 261.
I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY need to take some photos tomorrow. I have lots of motivation to scrap these days but i'm having a hard time getting motivated with the photos I have. I have plenty that still need to be scrapped but they just aren't what I feel like scrapping right now. Right now i want current photos! is that weird? i'm living in the here and now and don't feel like thinking back.

It's 2 am... raining out still. The kids want to go to Pioneer Park (aka Alaskaland) today. It was renamed like 5 years ago but it will always be Alaskaland to me. I believe that's what it's been called for well over 20 years. When I moved up here in 1981, that's what it was called, anyway. Nothing super special there but the kids like it. It's pretty much just a park. At one point, I think they may have tried to make it into more but have never succeeded. There are a few areas for kids to play (jungle gym, swings, slides, etc.), volleyball net, horseshoe pits, lots of whatchamacallits... those gazebo things for bbq's and picnics, miniature golf, and a carousel. There are a couple buildings... the Civic Center (where we had our wedding reception) that has an art gallery and a theater. There's also the church we got married in (really old dinky church that is no longer used for services). There's an area that is kind of built like the old western towns... little shops selling ice cream, Alaskan crafts, that type of stuff.
AlaskalandI can't believe the kids are still up right now. They fell asleep this evening and slept for like 3 hours so now they're wired. I am getting ready to send them off to bed though. Gonna hit the hay myself so i'm not all lazy tomorrow. hehe.
