Happy Father's Day!

We have been enjoying the visit from Kurt's dad. He came in on Friday night and it's been really good to see him and just sit around to talk about life. Today, we had planned on going to Sunday brunch but Kurt forgot he was going to go help hang a huge sign on an equipment rental place so his dad said that we could just take the kids to McDonald's to eat and play. We stopped by the worksite and said hi to Kurt. He was on a huge lift and Orion was in heaven. He wanted to get on the lift but it was definitely not happening. LOL!

Wonderful weather here today and in the past few days. Now THIS is summer! I've been roasting in the sun... someone needs to pass the butter because I need a basting.

Not much else happening lately. I am not looking forward to Monday and all the work that needs to be done. :( I am going to forget about it for now and enjoy the rest of my Sunday. Have a great week, all!

Photo update

Okay - so i finally downloaded some photos from the past few months onto the computer from the camera. LOL... here's what's new this past May.

Gianna graduated kindergarten in May.

Sweetie had puppies on May 31st. She had nine puppies but only 8 survived. (4 brown/4 black and half girls/half boys).

And finally, I got a new pretty dining table. Please ignore the ugly stained chairs from my old kitchen dining table... my new ones aren't coming until the beginning of July. I can't wait... 6 leather parson's chairs. Also, you can see the red wall we put in the new dining room to replace the wood paneling. What color would you paint the other walls? White, off white, or something else entirely? I'm having trouble deciding what to do with those. This room was previously our living room and it's hard to make decisions because it's such a drastic change from what it was already.

Well, I better get back to burning my photo backups. Tomorrow is a fun-filled day of house improvements. Ugh... I really would rather relax on Sundays but oh well.
