zippedy doo dah, zippedy aye,
my oh my, what a ... crappy day! ;) I won't go into all the sordid details but lets just say most of the day was wasted on idle silliness. Don't get me wrong, some days that's a good thing but today wasn't one of them... no sir.
It's going on 10 pm here and i need to start working on some stuff but i'm wallowing in a disaster area. too lazy to clean it but know i need to or i won't do ANYTHING. Why isn't there some invention yet for cleaning? Seems like monkey work but if it were, don't you think we'd all buy monkeys?
The boy is out of school now and i'm sure he's bored to tears already. It's when i come home and see him just looking all pathetic that i wish i didn't work. Then again, i remember my stay-at-home days and they were no picinic in the park. Sure, at times we had a blast and i got to teach him so many things... but at times i knew that being around him so much was probably not healthy for either of us. The girl... the girl is a different story. I was never really a stay-at-home mom with her so i just feel guilty that she didn't get that one on one time with me like the boy did. I feel like she isn't that close but i'm not sure where to start to change that. it makes me a little sad to feel like this so i better stop thinking so much for now.
They're both over at Grandma's house tonight... spending the night. I do love the break but honestly, i get a little bored. Especially when dh is at work, too. I should be doing all these things I claim i can't do because i need time alone but nooooooooooooope! I just get a huge block... empty feeling inside. Funny how attached and needy one gets when you can't ever be alone. ;)
That's it from me for now. I really am going to clean now. No more surfing, no more fiddle-farting around. :)
