life in slow motion
So for the most part, i always feel hurried, rushed, forgetful, stressed... something's been different the past few days. Not that i'm doing anything differently or have any less to do. It turns out when you shut your emotions off, everything kind of goes in slow motion. And i'm not saying i like it, but it's kind of a new feeling for me. I'm sure i've experienced it before, but never actually thought about it and recognized it for what it is. The feelings of hurry seem to be directly linked to all of this. If I could only learn how to turn everything off on demand. Kind of like the clapper. Clap on! Clap Clap off! Stop thinking today and you'll be able to find a slower pace! For three low easy pay payments, act now!
This post is starting to make me seem a bit weird and off so I'll leave all of that above at that. Let's just put it like - it's not been a good start to March for me. I've been keeping the emotions bottled up and feel like i'm about to crack wide open. Feel pretty damn sad really.
I guess i'm glad it's almost the weekend. I am not looking forward to spring break next week, though. I still have to work but the kids will be all off schedule. My mom has already offered to help out with the kids since she works for a real school, she has extra time off. They tend to come home wild after visiting her. I don't complain, though... it's nice to have the help.
Laundry is calling my name again. Do you fold the underwear and socks? I used to fold the underwear but with a family, that becomes harder.... especially when the undies are too little. Socks - i insist must be placed together and then folded over the top. It drives me a bit batty when they are loose... partnerless. :)
